The Kerala State Institute of Health and Family Welfare (KSIHFW) is equipped with a state-of-the-art Skills Lab, funded by the National Health Mission (NHM), designed to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals in delivering quality Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) services.
The Skills Lab was inaugurated on March 16, 2018, by the Honorable Health Minister of Kerala, Mrs. K K Shylaja Teacher. The lab has been conducting training programs for healthcare professionals, including Gynecologists, Head Nurses, and Staff Nurses, since March 2018.
